What is your favorite CD&Y song? And do you have a favorite song for each of the guys? I like so many for so many reasons, but what do you find yourself humming??? Reply to this

Well, if I limit my choices to CD&Y Volume 1, my favorite song that the three of them sing is the spiritual medley. Thomas Young = When Did You Leave Heaven. Rod Dixon = A Change Is Gonna Come. Victor Trent Cook = Sento la Gioia. I find myself humming It Don't Mean A Thing. If I include all the music I have heard by them together or individually, all of those would change. Reply to this

I just received notice of future concert dates and am ecstatic. Although I regret that I don't yet see any California dates, I do see a date in Phoenix and will plan to attend that concert. Me and many of my friends with whom I've shared my joy of your talents eagerly await seeing you perform on stage asap. Love your work and enjoy the spirit you exude. Reply to this

I am making plans to go to the show at the Apollo in New York Dec 2. I hope there will be an opportunity to meet CD&Y.
After a 2 hour concert, aren't the gentlemen too tired to meet fans? That's been my experience before with actors after plays and when they are tired that's no fun for anyone involved. Reply to this

I had the privilege of seeing you guys at the Jubilee Celebration for Rev. Johnnie Coleman on October 27, 2006 here in Chicago. Let me tell you, you guys took me on a journey on which I have never been. I have never enjoyed anything as much as I did your performance. It was electrifying, and I can't stop talking or thinking about it. You all are truly phenominal and there is such a chemistry between the three of you. I've never listened to opera music, but you have opened my mind to a whole new world. You just brought it all to life for me. I could have sat and listened to you all sing all night long. God has truly blessed the three of you, and it was even more of a blessing when he put the three of you together. It is my prayer that you will be blessing the people with your beautiful gifts from God for a very long time. God bless you all Reply to this

At Claflin University on November 17, The Tenors, Cook, Dixon and Young brought IT!!!
I brought a friend to the concert as she has never heard the glorious voices of the tenors or witness them perform. At one point during the performance, I was going to lean over to ask her if she was enjoying the show but remained silent when I saw the tears streaming down her face. I thought to myself I know how you feel girl. One must experience Cook Dixon and Young...not just hear them.
The evening was surreal... glorious... inspiring... fun ...and just downright enjoyable.

I have to say that I have not been fortunate enough to see Cook, Dixon & Young perform live, but I do own both the CD and DVD of the Three Mo' Tenors. I consider them to be among my favorites. I have to say that their own website does them an injustice. It states that they are considered the Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras of the African-American community. I know that the idea of the Three Mo' Tenors was a take off of the Three Tenors, but there is really no comparison. I am a musician of over 35 years and have played with many fantastic singers. I am also of Italian descent and truly love Italian music, but Cook, Dixon & Young have far surpassed the original Three Tenors. They are not only great vocalists, but they are great entertainers capable of switching styles and singing in those styles better than Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras. I look forward to the day I am able to attend one of their performances. Reply to this

Just sharing. Three of my girlfriends from ATL came to visit with me this last Saturday for an R&R weekend. We sat around catching up on the who's-what's-whys....I told them I had a must see DVD 'Three Mo' Tenors (my favorite). The excitement...from clapping our hands, dancing, to sing-a-long. tears, oh! that's my favorite, to screams, listen to the tenor voices, where have they been? The list goes on and on... When the DVD ended, in unisons, they asked me for the performance schedule. I too, look forward to the day that we will be able to attend your performance. Be Blessed, Each and everyone. I saw CDY on public TV and thought it was magnificent. I was hoping to experience them live and in concert.. I almost purchased tickets to 3 Mo' Tenors at the Little Shubert Theater in NYC. I happened to be on the internet and realized that they weren't the tenors I wanted. CDY was fantastic and it's horrible that fans would be and could be misled. I will wait until they are in concert in my area. Reply to this

I just became a fan. These guys are incredible!!!!!!!!!! I happened across them on TV One recently. They did a Christmas medley of two songs. The second one was a killer arrangement of "Hark The Herald Angels Sing". Can someone tell me if that is on a CD. I looked all over You Tube and could not find it. Thanks!!!!!!!! Reply to this
